The Chinese government has expressed its resolute opposition to the U.S. government concerning some of the content in a U.S. bill that harms China's interests and interferes in China's internal affairs.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Sun Yuxi made the remarks in Beijing on Wednesday in response to the passing of the bill on Permanent Normal Trade Relations (PNTR) with China by the U.S. Senate.
